Scope of Experience
Cecil Payne was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. Upon graduating from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1982, Cecil began work with Gulf Oil Exploration and Production Company in Midland, Texas. Cecil’s duties at Gulf Oil included the design of completion procedures and installation of equipment for newly drilled wells while specializing in waterflood projects for maximizing production extraction. In 1988, Cecil moved to Houston, Texas to work for GE Water and Process Technologies (formerly BetzDearborn/A Division of Hercules, Inc.). His 18 year career culminated as the National Corporate Alliance Manager for one of the company’s largest customers with annual sales of over $30MM. His responsibilities were: direct and manage teams across the U.S. to achieve GE’s business goals; manage, maintain and build forecasts and budgets to meet GE’s business plan; negotiate contracts to meet existing customer’s needs and allow the company to maintain a profitable business base; coach and train subordinates to allow them to visualize their full potential and prepare for career advancement. Cecil has developed an effective style of personal communication as well as the ability to interact with people of all different backgrounds. His success can be attributed to his ability of accepting responsibility, delegating authority and working with people at all levels. Cecil joined NAI Cravey Real Estate Services, Inc. in 2008. He is a responsible individual capable of originating and adapting to new and innovative ideas to solve problems, increase efficiency and achieve company’s business plan. He has an excellent work ethic and leadership skills able to work both independently or as a member of an integrated team.
