Scott graduated from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Subsequently, he worked as a Neonatal ICU Nurse at Driscoll Children’s Hospital and a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Merck & Company and Abbott Laboratories. During that time, he earned an award for Nurse of the Year, was recognized at the district, regional and national levels for sales results, and successfully negotiated numerous hospital contracts throughout South Texas.
